Peace, Love and Soccer

Hannah, Emma and Noah Raise Over $6,000 for SFP (Soccer For Peace)!

Hannah, Emma, and Noah Sharp knew they wanted to make their B’nai Mitzvah project special. The three siblings were excited to have the chance to celebrate this special occasion together, and wanted to use the occasion as an opportunity to make a difference in the world.

They decided to organize an amazing soccer tournament to benefit Soccer for Peace. More than 130 players competed in the tournament; boys and girls of all ages worked together and had great fun on the field. Amazingly, Hannah, Emma and Noah Sharp raised more than $6,400 for Soccer for Peace.

This generous donation will go towards this summer’s Goals of Peace camp, bringing Jewish and Arab children together in friendship and teamwork. Thank you Hannah, Emma and Noah, and mazal tov!

Soccer enthusiast, Lexi Gellerman, takes pride in the Bat Mitzvah Project she dedicated to Soccer for Peace.

“We decided that, during my spring soccer season, people would pledge a certain dollar amount per goal. Because this was my project, the pledge would double every time I scored.”

“It got my team excited and all the parents were, too. When I scored, everyone was psyched. In total we scored 17 goals. 5 of them were mine.”

In total, Lexi raised an amazing $3,200 for Soccer for Peace.
Thank you Lexi and Kol Hakavod!
