The Mitzvah Bowl was founded in 2010 by Cheryl Friedenberg. The ultimate goal of this website is to give you a simple resource to find a personally rewarding community service project. The end result is that you will embrace and gain individual fulfillment from getting involved in your community.

What We Do

We provide bar/bat mitzvah students with an organized menu to help you find and implement your mitzvah project requirements.

How We Do It

We research local area organizations who have a need in the community. Then we compile those organizations in a database format which the bar/bat mitzvah students may use to help them focus on a particular area of interest. The stock is updated with current information continuously.
