Our mission is to provide homework supplies to elementary school kids in Los Angeles who live below the poverty line so that they can do their homework and be excited about school.

For your mitzvah project, there are a few ways you can help:

The first is Pencils. Our biggest need is pencils. New regular pencils. Not mechanical. They can be simple yellow #2 pencils or have decorations from holidays or birthdays and long as they are new. We give 6 pencils to each student in their backpack. Our goal this year is 4,000 Rainbow Packs so we need 24,000 pencils!
Pencils collection drives are easy to do because pencils are inexpensive so it’s easy for everyone to participate. Most people even have a dozen new pencils around the house and don’t even realize it.

The second thing is to do a Homework Supply collection drive. For a Homework Supply collection drive kids can collect pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners (the little plastic kind) crayons (box of 24), colored pencils (pack of 8,10 or12) , highlighter pens, ball point pens, glue sticks, rulers, 2-pocket folders. Take a look at our current wish list.

The third way to help is to hold a Bake sale or other Fundraiser to raise money for Rainbow Pack. We buy supplies from a wholesaler so we can make every dollar go a little farther. We have no outside expenses so every single dollar you raise will go to get supplies or backpacks.
