The Pegasus Riding Academy program utilizes the horse and its movement to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Our mission is to provide therapeutic exercise in various forms while concentrating on ability rather than disability.

Pegasus has worked with many Bar/Bat Mitzvah students and hand crafts their mitzvah projects depending on their abilities and desires. Although the community service volunteers working with our lessons are required to be 14, Bar/Bat Mitzvah students who are accompanied by a parent have been able to participate in horse care.

Some past mitzvah projects have included the creation of wonderful hanging mobiles for our indoor riding arena, alphabet letters for our arena walls, and various fundraising projects and drives. The possibilities are endless for this community service project.
