Project Harmony is a 4-week English language summer camp that aims to create a safe social space for Arab and Jewish children from Jerusalem to relate to one another as kids. We believe in working towards peace through shared experience, one summer at a time. See our website for fun pictures from previous summers!
Launched in the Summer of 2010, Project Harmony is a 4-week English language summer camp that aims to create a safe social space for Arab and Jewish children from Jerusalem to relate to one another in the most basic way–not as citizens of a politically tense state or members of a religious group, but as peers. In a system where divisions are pervasive, entrenched, and often self-imposed, change is necessarily long term. Project Harmony seeks to plant the seed of this long-term process: one that begins with children who, despite being born into a deeply divided society, are given the chance to imagine their community as one rooted in shared experience, intellectual freedom, and social awareness. This is our vision of peace.

B’nai Mitzvot (for their mitzvah projects) may support Project Harmony Israel through fundraising however they like: bake sales, collecting donations from family and friends, etc. Funds will go to scholarships for underprivileged campers and camp materials like art supplies and food for lunches.
