Our non-profit social service agency is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The Family Center programs we offer help build self-esteem and strong families for disadvantaged residents. The YWCA must constantly raise funds to provide 40 services to low-income women, children and families at very low or no cost.
| We are always looking for clubs, groups and individuals who will hold passive fund raising events in their community for the benefit of our YWCA. All proceeds are used to help area families in need. |
Some community service projects are: car washes, selling candy or chances. Another mitzvah project can be holding penny races or collect donations at local events and fairs. Call us directly for more ideas.
