Mitzvah Market is here! arrives in our area! This Website, which launched in November 2008, is the largest and most authoritative resource dedicated to providing invaluable information to Bar/Bat Mitzvah planning families. Their Website and weekly email newsletters, Mitzvah Market Mail helps parents by providing clever, useful and entertaining ideas covering everything from the latest party trends, to cost-saving tips and mom-to-mom advice.

Also spotlighted are children’s charitable “Mitzvah Projects” that Mitzvah children organize as part of their Bar Bat Mitzvah rite of passage. Sharing these Mitzvah projects with other families are giving them ideas, inspiration and added exposure for the charities involved.

One of their most popular Mitzvah Projects to date was, “26 Acts Of Kindness.” After the tragic Sandy Hook shootings, twin boys from Florida read about an initiative launched by broadcast journalist Ann Curry. Using her extensive following on Twitter and Facebook, she suggested Americans perform 26 random acts of kindness to honor each one of the victims. The twins decided to do their own version for their B’nai Mitzvah project.
