In honor of my becoming a Bat Mitzvah, I decided to raise money and awareness for the National Kidney Foundation.  Last October, I walked in the Philadelphia annual Kidney Walk and raised a lot of money doing so for this foundation.  I will walk again this coming October and hope to exceed last year’s donations!  In addition to raising money, I enjoyed helping out at the Kidney Ball in Philadelphia this past March and plan to help out at the upcoming Kidney walk at the Philadelphia Zoo.

I also created a bracelet honoring the National Kidney Foundation.  I will give this bracelet out at my Bat Mitzvah celebration to help raise awareness about kidney disease.   I will sell these bracelets as well to raise more money for this very worthy organization!
