The Christmas Mitzvah Project offers volunteer opportunities at a diverse range of organizations in need of assistance during the Christmas Holiday. Participants provide support to staff and help out at a time when many organizations are understaffed. One of the best gifts a person can give is a mitzvah (good deed) and the Christmas Mitzvah Project is a unique way to engage in a community-wide mitzvah at a time when we can. No special skills are required, only a few hours to give in the holiday spirit.

Volunteers can provide non-medical assistance to organizations (the volunteer will be matched to an organization after he/she signs up) on Christmas Eve (between 4pm-8pm) and Christmas Day (shits start from 8am-12pm and 12pm-4pm).
Volunteer duties may include serving a meal, playing games, reading stories, passing out clothing/supplies, staffing a gift shop and more.

Volunteer Opportunity Times/Days of Week: 12/24 and 12/25
