JCC Klein is collecting non-perishable food items until January 2, 2015 for their Subaru share the love Event.

This is the perfect winter break mitzvah project while bar/bat mitzvah students are home for winter break.  By collecting tea bags, instant coffee, hot cocoa, raisin boxes, pudding and fruit cups, granola bars, oatmeal, peanut butter crackers,  juice boxes and canned foods (i.e. tuna, soup, veggies), you will be feeding homebound senior citizens. Additionally, these items, used for our ‘blizzard bags’, ensure that our customers have what they need should our drivers not be able to get to them in bad weather. It also helps protect the safety of our volunteer drivers and staff members who will now be able to wait until the roads are cleared to deliver meals.
