The Songs of Love Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing personalized uplifting songs, free of charge, for children and teens currently facing tough medical, physical or emotional challenges.
Each CD is professionally produced with lyrics containing the child’s name and references to all of his or her favorite activities, things, people, and pets. Songs are written and performed in any language in the musical style that the child likes best (kids, pop, R&B, rap, rock, alternative, etc.), by many talented singer/songwriters.
As each child is unique, so is every ‘song of love’ composition. Since 1996 the Songs of Love Foundation has reached out to over 25,000 children in over 500 hospitals and health care facilities in all 50 states and the world.
Donate to the Songs of Love Foundation and make a lasting impression on a deserving child! Of the many gifts given to children, a song is one that will last. It is something that can be played over and over again in any situation, for years to come. To see the smile on a child’s face as they realize that a song is written all about them is a feeling incomparable with anything else, and the comfort that these songs bring is truly meaningful.
Songs are used as therapeutic tools in and out of hospitals!
- During medical treatments to help alleviate fear, pain and trauma
- On car rides to the hospital
- During ‘end of treatment’ parties
- During show & tell
- Before bedtime
- At family events
Songs of Love will come out to your school or synagogue to engage everyone in the live recording of a “song of love” for a local sick child. It’s called the Songs of Love Experience™.
Everyone has a chance to be a part of an actual recording of a “song of love” that is forever a part of the child’s life. You can get more info at songsoflove.org/experience. The fee for this is a donation to Songs of Love. Come up with creative ways to raise funds for this experience.
