Our mission and vision is to provide a permanent safe haven for all horses that are asymptomatic carriers of Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) within the state of Florida as well as for any horse in need within the Broward County area thus preventing their needless destruction. Our primary financial goal is to acquire sustainable funding to provide these noble animals with the dignity of allowing them to live with their needs met while providing the proper care and loving interaction they deserve. It is our moral position we must continue to advocate for and participate in ongoing research to find a cure as well as to factually educate the public regarding EIA thus allowing us to dispel the myths and misconceptions that lead owners to think the only legal alternative is to euthanize their horse.
As our ethical obligation to the surrounding communities, we will continue to give back to them in a worthwhile and enriching way by maintaining and enhancing our many programs that benefit local families and organizations thereby positively impacting the entire community.

Volunteers get the opportunity to help and interact with 50 Horses, 2 Miniature Donkeys, 1 Hinny, 2 Goats, 10 Potbellied Pigs, 1 Farm Pig and 1 Cat. We need volunteer support to do stall cleaning, cleaning & refilling water buckets, pasture clean up, grooming & bathing horses. Each volunteer must attend orientation prior to beginning. We hold orientations on the 1st Saturday and the 3rd Sunday of every month at 1:00. If the volunteer is under the age of 18, we will need a parent present with a valid ID to fill out the releases and waivers at orientation.
After orientation, volunteer hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:30-5:30 PM.
