Mazel Tov on their Bar Mitzvah

The Jewish Relief Agency is celebrating its Bar Mitzvah year and you’re invited to join the celebration!  Founded in September 2000 with just 3 volunteers, 1 van and 19 recipient families, JRA is now the largest hunger relief agency serving the Philadelphia Jewish community.  One Sunday each month, 750-1000+ volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities come together to pack and then deliver boxes of fresh produce and nonperishable kosher pantry items to over 3,200 low-income households in Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Delaware and Chester counties.  Volunteers range in age from 18 months to nearly 100 and JRA has experience working […]

How We are Wired to Mitzvot (Good Deeds)
