Operation Gratitude annually sends 100,000+ care packages filled with snacks, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, plus personal letters of support, to Veterans, New Recruits, First Responders, Wounded Warriors, Care Givers and to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed overseas.
Our mission is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of the Military and First Responder communities, and provide volunteer opportunities for Americans to express their appreciation to all who serve our nation. Each package contains donated product valued at $75-100 and costs the organization $15 to assemble and ship. Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude volunteers have shipped more than 1.2 Million Care Packages.
Operation Gratitude offers many service projects in which you may participate both at our headquarters in the Los Angeles area as well as from your own home anywhere in the country.Local students may participate in assembling care packages at our monthly assembly events..
